     Thanks for the comments. You're the first I've talked to that
     actually had Hoosiers on a vehicle. The long tread wear is exactly
     what I was worried about. The catch 22 with tires is to get the long
     tread wear you give up some of the 'stickiness'. I love the BFG's but
     since I'm not worried too much about the wear (so long as it's 25-30k)
     lean towards the softer compounds.

I can only attest to very even, long wear on Hoosiers. Had them on my
90 3/4ton hi-top conversion van. Went 45K miles with very even wear. (I
rarely rotated them) Good wet traction, but I didn't make 1/4 mile runs
in that beast.
