Rob, I don't have 16 inch wheels on mine, but I can offer a suggestion:
Stock P235 75R15's = 28.8779527559.... inch diameter.
P245 60R16 = 27.5748031496... inch diameter
P245 50R16 = 25.6456692913... inch diameter
P245 65R16 = 28.5393700787... inch diameter
P265 60R16 = 28.5196850394... inch diameter
P275 60R16 = 28.9921259843... inch diameter
If you _Really_ want a 50 series tire, you'd need a set of
P325 50R16 = 28.7952755906... inch diameter
The closer you can get to the stock diameter, the better. A bigger than
stock diameter results in the vehicle's actual speed to be greater than
the speed indicated on the speedometer. Conversly, a smaller than stock
diameter results in the vehicle going slower than the speedometer would
indicate.
I'm no math major, but I think this equation will work...
Va=[((Vi)*(698.391418501))/(20168.1143886/Td)]
Va=Actual Speed of vehicle (miles per hour)
Vi=Speed indicated on speedometer (in miles per hour)
Td=diameter of tire(in inches)
Hope it helps...
