Boy, do we have some opinions here!!!!!!!!!!

From my own experience, '97, 5.2L, Clone FIPK, with K&N E-1080 filter. The
removal of the CC installed, god-awful, air snorkel hold down assembly, and
the installation of the FIPK made a world of difference in noticeable
difference in torque, in 5th gear (up hills, etc.) Don't know all the
technical particulars related to air flow, sensors, computer, but the
system DOES work better.

Thought of an old article that I remember from one of the car magazines
back in the muscle car era, testing so called RAM-AIR systems. The best
system from the test if I recall correctly was the AIR-GRABBER on the '70
RR. Actually made a very noticeable performance difference. Low air drag,
located optimum location, brought in cooler outside air, sealed to open
element air box, and when connected to 1240 cfm sucking HEMI
.........WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....................
