The SBEC is a 'Single Board Engine Computer (controller?). Be
carefule about callin' the Sure-Grip a 'Posi; (GM diif)....some of the
tried and true Mopar guys might get upset. ;) ;)

I also wanted to point out a couple things about your list of mods
just in case you didn't know. If you did, maybe this will help
     someone eles:

Headers to true duals: I want to do this as well but there are a
couple of snags to work around. All OBDII vehicles have 2 O2 sensors
(check out OBDII article on Dak Homepage). The first (before the cat)
controls the rich/lean settings for the motor. The second (after the
cat) verifies that the converter is in place and functioning
correctly. Simply removing this sensor *could* send the computer into
'limp home' mode and kill power. It could also do nothing but light
the 'check engine light'. To do 'true dual's' you'd need to intall a
second cat so each bank of cylinders sees equal backpressures and
flow. On my list of things to do is to price a cat from the dealer.
I'm in the beginning stages of working on a O2 eliminator for the #2
     position for 'offroad' use.

Everything else looks good until the cam. Cams swaps and OBDII are a
real touchy subject. The computer needs to see very little change in
idle quality and such to not flag a problem. Increased ratio rockers
should not effect OBD computer operations as they increase mostly lift
and have only a minute effect on duration. There is some debate,
however, on the gains from the rockers.

Octane boost shouldn't be necessary for *any* of these mods. The
truck should run on 87 and 93 should suffice for a modified truck like
     you list.

However you decide to go keep us all posted on your gains. Hope I
     helped.

What is a MP SBEComputer? I live in South Carolina so I don't have to =
worry about any smog inspections what-so-ever. I am probably going to go =
with this setup on my 97 CC V-8 with auto and 3:55 Posi-Track:

Headers to TRUE Dual Exhaust=20
K&N Filter
Hi-Pro Wires
Computer Chip
TCI Shift Kit
Tornado Air thing

MSD Ignation (maybe)
Throttle Body (maybe)
Compu-Cam (maybe)

I want to run pump gas without any octane boost. Any Suggestions from =
anyone?
