Yep! I've got some fairly long patch cables, so if I ever end up
putting a .wav on the site, I might just record directly into my computer,
but otherwise, I'll use a tape recorder and play that back into the computer.
(Just hook a cable from the "out" jack on the tape recorder to the "line in"
jack of your sound card. That'll probably sound a lot better than
playing the tape recorder into the air and recording it with the computer
via a microphone...)

JPEG would be fine. You can actually send them in a variety of
formats, 'cause I can convert to and from quite a few different types.
If you were to send a JPEG or a GIF, I don't convert them at all, but
anything else gets converted to GIF. (Because I hate trying to decide
what a good quality/size percentage is when saving as JPEG) :)

You can FTP them to the /pub/incoming/mailing-lists/dakota directory
of sseg.ait.fredonia.edu, or e-mail 'em to steiger@ait.fredonia.edu.
