Your engine is designed to run on 87 octane (with the stock computer). I
use 89 because I've seen a few reports describing 87 as poor fuel.

This one was bounced around last fall, and the general consensus was that
higher octane fuel was a waste of money because your engine (ie. stock
computer) cannot take advantage of it (ie. advance the timing).

Just to see, I ran a couple of tanks of 94 octane and found absolutely no
difference in performance.
