Andy;

Rob is right, the owners manual indicates that it will run fine on 87, I
have tried the approach of running a lower octane in my Cobra just to see
what happens. The owners manual calls for 91 or greater (I think) when you
run 87 or 89 it runs fine, but no snap. So after the first three or four
tanks of 87 in my truck, I put in a tank full of either 93 or 94, truck ran
the same as with 87.

AND CONTRARY to what the TV commercials indicate, all brand name gas has
injector cleaner in it.
