Well,
I got my new tires this weekend. I decided to get the 275/60 Firestone
Firehawk SS10's. I had them mounted on my 15x8 wheels that came with the
tire and handling package. They cost me $71 each. I got 5 mounted and
lifetime balance with road hazard warranty for $438. I think they look
*really* good on my '97. They fit fine with no rubbing and they actually
give a softer ride on the interstate while improving handling tremendously.
I am very pleased and would recommend them for any '97 owners who want to
invest in wider tires. BTW my speedo is right on. Before I got the new
tires I measured the distance between two point on the interstate with my
trip odo and the distance was 71.0 miles. Then, after I got the tires, I
measured the distance again. It also showed 71.0 miles. Just thought you
guys might be interested.
