Should *definitely* be cheaper. A 'glass hood from the aftermarket usually
runs anywhere from $350 to $450. I'm lookin' at a Cobra Jet type scoop
('glass or "plastic") for about $30. Simple "bond-on" or rivet
installation. A little body filler and some paint and yer good to go. If
ya had a body shop do the whole thing it should be less than the $350. I
saw a '95 Dak in Mopar Muscle awhile back that had the twin 'Cuda scoops
added to the stock hood. Looked FANTASTIC. Check J.C. Whitney for a
selection of scoops.
