I removed the jack on my 94 to use two 10" Rockford subs also. When I
removed the jack bracket I took my time and cut the mounting bracket out
so that it was still intact. I then mounted the jack bracket on a large
piece of angle iron and attached it to the inside of my truck bed near
the tailgate about half way up the side. The jack is very secure and
doesn't rattle and all the pieces are still in the rubber piece just
like if it was still behind the seat. After I added a hard tonneau
cover it's completely hidden.
