Yea this hose was made to tie together tile (for drains etc.) I cut it to
length with a hand saw (the wall is about 1/4" thick) and put a large hose
clamp around it to slightly adjust the size with no leaks. I really lucked
out on this and spent $4.00 for the hose. The hardware store had all sizes
and shapes. They had a PVC pipe fitting that looked like it would have
worked also.
Just as information, went to a local speed shop that sold all brands of
aftermarket filters. Found out that the Moroso, Eldebrock, and Mr. Gasket
have the same air cleaner (competition 14"). Mr. Gasket was the cheapest
with no logo. The Eldebrock was the next expensive. And the Moroso was
the highest. Other than the logo, they were IDENTICAL!!!! I personally
liked no logo, so that is what I bought. Saved about $25 over the MOROSO!!
If you like different colors, go Moroso.
That is my 2 cents, or should I say $25 worth!
