I too disagree. When I took delivery of mine last November, you would
maybe see another one every 2-3 weeks. Now, I'm seeing at least one if not
more every day! In my opinion, they are selling very well. Too bad the
strike had to happen. Was at the dealer a few weeks ago and their lot was
really sparse of not only Dakotas but other vehicles as well. Late last
Dec or early Jan they had over 40 Dakotas and now it was down to 3! One
was a base 4 banger, a SC sport V8 auto and a CC 4x4 V6 auto. The salesman
told they can sell em IF they can get em..

I disagree. When mine was delivered in January it was a rare truck. I
am seeing a TON of standard cabs, but very few with the eight. When I
was looking, I found a CC 318 stick, and took the salesman for a white
knuckled ride, after that ride I was hooked. They have a ton of auto
sixes on the lot, but they admit that an eight in inventory lasts
about five minutes.
