It is possible:: my 92 deep spectrum blue was hit at the begining of last
school year (parked on the street because someone was in my spot, they
weren't enforcing parking yet), we had the best local guy we knew of do it.
 they repainted the hood, new drivers side fender, sanded down the roof of
the cab and repainted (had this done because the paint was flaking), and
did the drivers side cab above the stripe. You Cant tell color wise. The
paint is newer and has a different sort of "texture" but that will probably
disapear after some more waxes. My truck looks better now then when we
bought it used.
Oh yea thier insurance paid for it all, never evan saw the truck.
