The '97's are probably the same as earlier models in this area. On mine
the sound is caused by air being sucked in through the AIS motor port.
When I first installed my FIPK it drove me crazy for about a month, but
I've learned to live with it and now I hardly notice it.
I had to clean my AIS and throttle body a few weeks ago and that seemed
to help it. If it is a '97 I doubt that it would need cleaning. It's
a minor side effect for the seat-o-the-pants boost you get...
