I've got the Gibson on my 97. It's a single 3" pipe, altho they do make a
dual rear exit as well. Had it on for about 2 weeks now and have to say I
really like it so far. Between that and the K&N I think I've realized about
a 25hp increase. Most important tho is the "seat-o-pants" increase, it's
there. I know Borla makes a kit for the 97 3.9 caused I checked, it's
about $750 and WAY more than I would care to spend, even for stainless
steel. Anyway, I like the Gibson cause its not too loud but definitely
gives a boost. That 3" stainless steel tip on the end looks pretty good as
well.

Anyone have experience with cat back exhausts for the 3.9L V6? I know
Gibson and Jardine make them, and maybe Dynomax. Anyone have opinions
on who makes a better product? I have heard a few people say that Borla
makes really good stuff, but they don't make anything for my engine.
What kind of gains are you guys getting (HP)?
By the way, the 3 inch K&N fits nicely into my 10" diameter 'Meldrum
Filter'.
