I was lazy and had someone do the brake work on my truck last month.
Turn rotors, repack wheel bearings, new brake pads (this is all front brake
work).
$89.95 with 50000 warranty on parts/labor...

Price for factory replacement rotors is $80 each.
Front brake pads (Raybestos brand) are $35 a side
Repack wheel bearings will run you a $12 can of grease.
Service rear brakes means either to look at them
or replace the shoes...which are $25.00 a side I think.

Total parts = $292 and some change... That's IF you needed
new rotors, and if you needed rear shoes... Most people will
go 60-90000 miles on rears... 90% of your stopping power is
        from the fronts...

If I'd done my own brakes, it would have cost me $10.00 each
rotor to have it turned, and the price of the pads $70+20=$90.00

So I had someone else do it!
