This is my 1st posting to the list. I've been watching for about a
month now. It's great to have a forum like this to share information on our
Dak's.

It's good to see there are "Classic Dak" owners on the list. I own
an '88 LE, LB, 3.9L, w/1 ton setup. Like yourself I have a lot of experience
replacing things. I have the factory as well as a Chilton's manual, since I
do most of my own work. If anyone is concerned about how long the V-6 will
last.... well I have 222K mi on mine and she still runs like the day I drove
her off the dealer's lot. Of course I've had to replaced the PS, SP, & Alt.
I only use Valvoline 30# w/Fram filters. Changed every 6,000 mi. Overall
this is the best truck I've ever owned.
