The nasty musty odor is from mold growing on the condenser coils of the
AC, spraying Lysol on the condenser MAY help by killing the mold. Try
turning the AC off a couple of miles before you shut off the vehicle to
dry out the condenser coils. I've never noticed any rude odors from my
Dak's air vents unless it was coming from outside (ever drive by a farm
where they're spraying liquide manure? THAT'S RUDE).
The clutch we're talking about is the clutch on the engine fan, big finned
aluminum thing attached to the fan.
