In a message dated 97-07-05 00:32:04 EDT, you write:

Stock(including tires), it ran 15.90s. I'll let Karl tell you about his
transmission mods(they were extensive) My mods include the following:

Totally new exhaust from manifolds back (single pipe 3" system)
 MP Computer
 March pulleys
Jacobs Ultra Team (Yes it works!)
 K&N FIPK
 160 Thermostat.

Total $ invested so far is about $1,450 Netted 1.2 second reduction in
ET. BTW, I'm still running on street tires(Dunlop GTQs)
Best to date is 14.70@93.5 mph >>

Yowser good running truck, from what I have heard the dunlops are a definite
advantage. The guy with the ultra team had it on a 96 SB V8 Auto with 3.9 SG.
It did not work on his, maybe something to do with the odbII? I was there and
helped him take it off and reset the plugs, he definitely got his .2 back. I
plan to be running mid 14's without NOS but I am not done researching my
route yet. Right now I am looking at BFG Drag radials, they will help a
little now and a lot later on and if I go mods first then I'll just waste the
street tires. I run 93+ regularly but at 15.1's and 15.2's. Hey just whoop
them Ferds and Cheby's..

Do you plan any more mods to yours?

Bill
