Sorry Sean, I mis-typed. It's a single exhaust with a dual outlet just
at the tip. Seems kind of strange that one of them would be a lot more
'sootier' than the other, doesn't it? Since other guys have experienced
backfires too, I don't think it's related to the filter setup.
