Wouldn't it be nice if there was just one grade of gasoline? I mean,
do we really need 87, 89, and 92/93? I can't imagine that it wouldn't
cost less to make one grade only - like 93.

I kind of have a similar argument with trim levels on cars/trucks.
I mean, is it really cost effective to offer 5 or 6 different trim
levels
starting with vinyl everything and ending up with leather everything?
I would think making two trim levels - standard (cloth seat, carpet)
and luxury (leather seats) would save $ on design and tooling. But
then there is the argument of "what people want" so maybe I'm being
narrow minded. Something to think about, anyways......

Well, as Dennis would say "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong".
