Those are the same reasons that I'm looking at a soft tonneau instead of
a hard one. I thing the hard tonneaus look better, and I like the fact
that they can be locked, but removal looks difficult. And I don't care
for the price, either. :-)

I've seen a couple tilt-up soft tonneau covers that look interesting (at
http://www.calconcepts.com/SoftCovers/tiltup/tiltup.html). Looks like
an easy way to access the truck bed without having to unsnap the cover.
