Cumon folks.... this is really lame.
Jules has a business... a service, & products to offer. Sorry, but there
ain't nothing wrong with that. Even beyond that, he offers advice on this
list, for free, about our hobby. Now, you may not agree with it, you might
want to discuss it, you may choose to ignore it. Soooo...... do so. Leave
the whining out.
Personally, I value all input on this list, including Jules'. I sure as
hell would hate to see him leave because someone decided to throw a tantrum
in his direction. Seems that some folks are forgetting that Jules is, above
all else, a member of this list..... just as you & I are. He is entitled to
the same respect & courtesy as any other member.
I can't comment on the performance mods discussed, don't have 'em. I can
relate my experience of ordering from MPI....
I sent Jules an E-Mail, basically saying "I want one of these, two of
these", etc. "Total it all up & bill it to my credit card", I included the
card number in the E-Mail. I got the parts promptly, they were exactly as
advertised, & my credit card was billed for the exact prices as quoted in
his catalog. I don't buy everything from MPI, but I wouldn't hesitate to
order from them again.
