Pioneer Head Unit

I have the Pioneer DEH-40DH (older model, 1.5 DIN, 4x35, CD, Tuner). I have
had it for two years. Thought I had a problem the other day. I went to
change the volume and the power would cut off. I would hit the select
button and it would come back on. The problem was the detachable faceplate
.. there is a set of contacts between the faceplate and the main body. I
pulled off the faceplate, looked puzzled at the contacts and re-attached
it. Haven't had any problems since ... that's the only problem I've had
since I installed it. I'm quite happy.
