Hopefully someone knows someone who knows the answer to this:
Do 318 and 360 (5.2 and 5.9l) engine blocks start out as the same casting?
The MP race block has rough bores of 3.900, and can be bored to 4.100".
The 318 bores are 3.91" and Kuk says the 360 has 4.00" bores, so I'm
thinking that the stock engine blocks have roughly the same range [and
are likely cast with about a 3.8" cast bore???].
And does anyone know if the stock tappet angle is 48 degrees?
