I talked to the parts guy at my dealer about getting the DRL module for my 97 truck and he informed me that the Canadian Dakotas have more than a simple module for DRLs and it would take some doing to install factory type DRLs in my truck. I found an aftermarket universal modual for about $30 that does it right (runs high beams at 80% power) which looks easy enough to install. I was wondering, however, if anyone knew offhand where the best (read easiest to get to) on-wth-the-ignition type wire to tap into could be found (preferably under the hood) It also wants access to the high and low beam headlights. I'm sure I can find that near one of the headlights (or is there a better place?) Of course, ground and power are easy;)
