mods were almost instant. I know on mine though every mod I've done has
taken a few days to get settled.... When the Flowmaster was first put
on, performance was less than stock for the drive home, then things
started to pick back up. I'm kinda wondering if the SBEC (non
OBDII)goes by the number of key on sequences before making changes,
instead of adjusting while the engine is running? Anyone know?

I was told by a Mopar Mech that after you change something unhook the battery
for atleast a minute and the hook it back up (Non-OBDII) and it will start
from scratch and learn much faster. I used to change computers back and forht
at the track when I first got the NOS because I couldn't run the MP SBEC with
the juice so they would relearn a couple of times a night and it only took a
few runs and it was bookin. The best runs I had were with this method where
it got train going down the strip. I tried it once this year with the MSD and
MP SBEC but I don't think it work because I did nor loose my radio stations,
the only thing I could think of it the MSD ground wire is attached to the Neg
Battery terminal and came off when I took the neg wire off. I could only
think that the MSD capacitors or something in it held enough charge to where
the computer didn't lose it memory. I have messed with it since.
