Corky - Please note that the trailer is only 7' wide, not 8' or 8-1/2'
wide, as typical of others. Also, it's got a low profile roof level with
the bedroom roof. Therefore, the bedroom doesn't have standing room, but
has room to situp on the foot of the bed, which narrows over the
*headboard.* It also has a rubber torsion suspension that is apparently
lighter than the typical Dexter leaf-spring system. The trailer weighs
around 3800 lb empty; 4800 lb GVWR. It doesn't have a great cargo
capacity, but my wife and I are used to our pop-up, therefore, the fifth
wheel will be like a palace. If you didn't notice in my previous note,
check www.shadowcruiser.com. My trailer is not listed, since it's a '91
(like new!!). Note that, because of the design of the fiberglass front
section, it can be mounted close to the truck cab. It should be a good
match for the Dakota. And it's only a foot wider than the Dak!
