Matthew, Hellwig makes the 'helper' springs. Unfortunately when
you put those on, the truck will ride like a rock when empty (they aren't
progressive like your stock springs). The best option would be air-bags
(like air shocks, but you can't run air shocks on Dakota's)... They are
adjustable, so you can have a comfortable ride when empty, then air
them up for the occasional heavy load. I'll being getting a set installed
in
the next month or so (finally!). The airbag mounts above the axle, between
the frame rail.
