That's pretty high, but aren't those prices are in Canadian dollars? To
compare with the prices everyone else is reporting, we need to use the same
currency. The latest exchange rate I've seen (today's Toronto Star) is
72.01 cents US per dollar Canadian. So your prices above (CDN $2.4472,
$2.774 and $2.242) in US dollars woule be $1.7622, $1.9976, and $1.6145.
Still pretty bad. Are you sure they're not selling you avaiation fuel? :-)

BTW, where is this island you're on? Just curious.
