I have to agree with Tony. The BEST I've gotten from my V6, auto 4x4 is
just under 21 mpg. I only had 4800 miles at the time and this was with
cruise on @ 60+ and air off. Around town it's 15 - 17..

I dont know you Rob, and I'm sure you're a great guy, in fact I think you
may have answered a question of mine a while back. Howerver I don't see how
you can get that kinda mileage out of a "97 V8 SLT 4x4". I suppose if you
drove with a 50 mph tail wind or something but thats contrary to just about
every other post on the MPG subject and its 10-15% better than I get with a
V-6. No offense mind you I'm not calling you a liar but the facts just dont
jibe.
