My '97 V8 SLT 4x4 is giving me 23 - 24 mpg (empty) on the highway using
cruise and AC.
It gets 15 - 17 in town (back a forth to work, 3 mi. and a bit of highway).
Where I hauled my 14 ft. fibreglass travel trailer (1500 lb.), the fuel
economy dropped to 17 mpg. This is for imperial gallon.
