I would imagine that it is a valid charge, but perhaps some dealers make it

If it was a valid charge then it would be on the window sticker from the

Having just ordered my 98 today I went throught the same exercise. One dealer wanted to charge me $200
for this ad fee. The same dealer also wanted $300 over invoice. The dealer I bought from had an ad on the
internet for $200 under invoice, but was hiding a $200 fee. Bottom line is I feel I paid "invoice" (actual
prices listed on KBB web page) and saved $500 between dealers. (he's making his holdback and whatever
else is hidden from us).
Can't wait for it! (6-8 weeks). BTW: Black/agate '98 CC V8 4X4 5sp Sport Plus, 3.55 ,4WAL, towing,
HD elec, deluxe convenience, underrail bed liner(good for the sled!).
(basically loaded minus auto & radio)
Finally! Thanks to the list members for the info over the past several months getting me to this point!
