I ordered my Dakota last week, SLT + Club Cab, 5.2 V8, 2WD, Auto Trailer tow, ,Anti Spin, Tire and
Handeling, HD Service,Overhead.3.55 and 1450 payload.
The dealer called back and said the conputer would not accept the 3.55 and the 1450 payload, and thinks it's its because that is standard equipment and not an option.
I had looked at a new Club Cab on the lot and the window sticker said 1250#
payload.
I want the 1450 because of the tongue capicity 700# vs.400# for the 1250#.
The order book does not make it clear and I want to make sure they have it right
tne first time.
Information from anyone with a 97 or 98 Club Cab on what was standared axle and payload would help.
The code on the payload I want is Z1B. I still have time to make them get it right.
Any information will help.
