5 speed I presume?

KBB says re. 1998 CC:
DSA (Anti-spin) is NOT AVAILABLE with 3.21
DMC (3.21) is NOT AVAILABLE with AGB (tire & handling)
   DMC (3.21) is standard with the 5-speed & V-8, for Z1A & B
   DMD (3.55) is standard with the 5-speed & V-8, for Z1D
AGB (Tire & Handling) is NOT AVAILABLE with 4WD, DMC, TS1, or Z1D
   Z1A (1250) is standard payload
Z1B is NOT AVAILABLE with 4WD
   Z1B (1450) requires EHC (V6) or ELF (V8)
  =20
Looks to me like you're required to go with DMD or DMH. I can't see
any reason it shouldn't accept Z1B as well, if KBB is right. Dodge,
of course, doesn't yet have '98 details up...

Maybe he tried to put in Z1C (1600 lb for the std. cab) or something.

I'd be very interested in what you find out, as I'm preparing to go
through a similar exercise.

John
