I have a 96 V8 with the same problem. I get a 45 and a 12 that never goes
away. I haven't tried the dealer for the codes, but I did have a cold
start problem. They installed a bulletin (reprogrammed the computer) and
that took away the problem of idle quality but the code is still there. I
am wondering if their reprogramming did something for this code.
