Another thing to consider is ease of access and loading. Just remember
that if have a tonneau cover that requires a frame and you need to load
anything of size in the bed, you must remove the cover or disassemble the
rear part of the frame. I purchased a tonneau cover manufactured by a
company called Access. It is a soft cover that totally rolls up behind the
cab and leaves bed wide open. I had a Lund with the frame when I first got
the truck and what a pain in the a**. The Access cost me around $430, but
the convenience is worth it if you use the bed at all.

I have an Extang soft tonneau on my Dak (its the "good" model with the
frame and bows to hold it up) and I say invest in a good hard tonneau!
It will repay you in the long run with less headaches! Mine puddles up
with water at the least bit of rain (even with the bows adjusted all the
way up) and it absolutely will NOT hold up to snow. I hate this cover
so much, when I finally buy the hard tonneau, I believe I'll build a
bonfire with this one. TRUST ME! A hard tonneau is a whole lot better
in the long run!
