My 97 cc 4x2 does the same popping while turning right into a driveway.
It sounds like it is coming from right behind the cab. I've had it to
the dealer about 7 times and each time they said they didn't hear it and
it must be a normal noise. After bringing the service manager with me
in the truck, he heard it and said it was not normal. They kept the
truck for 3 days, supposedly replaced some bed mounts and the problem
was gone... that was about 3 weeks ago. Now the popping is coming back.
I have had my truck for about 6 months now and hate the fact that it
will have been in the shop for the 8th time for this reason. I love my
truck but am very disappointed with the way Dodge is treating me in the
service department. What are your opinions on lemon laws. Does anyone
think I have a case. Thanks for your help,
