I would think that one of the main reasons for offering a 4 cyl is to
increase their CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy). Even if they don't
sell very many of them they still get to count its fuel economy in their
average.

On a different topic, did you all notice that the Dakota kicked the Chebby
S-10's ass in NHRA Super Stock Truck exhibition (I think that's what they
call it). Should be interesting next year when they make it a regular
event, Dakota's stomping Ferds and Chebbys on a regular basis.
