We just bought our first new truck, and yes it's a Dak. Found you all about
a month ago and have been listening in .
We picked up our '98 Dak on 10/18. We got a Base Model, V-6, 5 Spd., Short
Bed, 4X4 in Deep Amethyst Pearlcoat.
We are thrilled with the Dak! the ride is excellent!
We just put a fiberglass lid on the bed, got it from ATV, was on sale for
$571. My Dad has a Auto Body shop with an account there so we didn't have
to pay sales tax. Also took advantage of the body shop and my brother
painted the lid to match.
About this Dakota meet, We'd love to be there! We're from Long Island , NY
and would take the run to Michigan. Sounds great!
Speaking of road trips, I'm taking the Dakota upstate this weekend to meet
the family and play in the snow. Looking forward to the ride.
