I think Edlebrock makes some for model years '93 and earlier. Can anyone
say why they wouldn't fit '94's and later?

One reason I can think of may be the transmision dip stick tube(at least for the autos).
When I put the Doug Thorleys on mine I had to change up to a '94-'96 model dipstick tube.
It is routed differently and allows more clearance for the headers. But there could be
other reasons as well.
