   One thing you might want to try is cleaning the wipers themselves. Go to
the drug store and get some alcohol wipes. Just wipe it along the edge of the
blade where it meets the windshield.
   As for the floppy arms, there are little winglets that you can add to the
arm to cause down pressure. They look like a little curved airfoil.
