I agree. My previous truck was a 2wd 3/4 ton Dodge. While it performed ok
(with weight in the back), in the snow, it got pretty scarey a times when
it started to slide, particularly reversing ... front brakes lock up well
before the rear, steering is lost, yet even at an idle, the rear wheels are
still pulling.

Big snow last winter, I was out and about in my 4x4 without any weight and
it performed great.
