If the parts are CARB approved and the malfuction is not part of the new
parts problem, they have to cover it.

However, I still change over my K&N filter and aircleaner before taking it
in. Don't expect the warranty to cover exhaust leaks on headers :-) but
don't let them tell you that they cause the rest of your truck to be out
of warranty. They know better than that!
