Thanks for the good information. But I there's one problem: Summit and Jegs both
want $104.95 for the FIPK. I figure that for $30 I'm buying a good name, someone
to yell at if thing breaks, and a few hours of my own time. For just $30 more,
that sounds like a good idea. I had the same questions about a fiberglas hood
also, as my truck lives outside also, but not during Late Dec, early Jan. so I
might be o.k. Also, I don't want a hood scoop that is raised like Kuk's. (no
offence, I think they're dog- ugly) If I do get a hood scoop, it will come right
out of the hood, like ram- air on the 97 Cameros.
