I agree with the other poster - change the fuel filter. You're lucky -
it's on the frame rail. You need to bleed down the pressure (there's a
fitting atop the intake manifold fuel rail that will mate with an air
conditioning hose), then swap the filter. Let the system prime by turning
the key to 'ON' for a few seconds before you start it just to be safe.

[The '92 and '93 has a fuel loop, while the later trucks have a demand
pump in the tank integral with the filter. The fuel loop is constantly
filtering fuel from the tank...]

If that doesn't work, pull the tank. I think the bed has to come off to
lift it out (???) and at five years now, you might as well just replace
the whole unit (pump and sender).

The filter is a whole lot cheaper!
