I think you can almost have wheels drilled for the Dak's bolt pattern
custom, for what the factory asks for the replacements. It's a crime --
it can't cost the factory nearly that much to make and hold inventory
on those wheels...every manufacturer does it though. >>
One thing about wheels on Dakotas. You need to get s FWD offset if you want
aftermarket wheels to sit right on the truck. I've seen Dakotas going down the
road with some nice wheels but they stuck too far out past the fenders. Two
problems with this, in Indiana, your wheels can't stick out past the fenders
(although it's not enforced much) and the rocks thrown up tear the dickens out
of a nice paint job.
I bought my truck to be a TRUCK. That doesn't mean I want it to look shabby
while I work it though.
