Happy Holidays folks...
I just received a GTECH pro accelerometer for Christmas and could not
resist the urge to try it out. I have a 98 Reg. CAB Sport SWB V8 5spd
with 3.92SG. My only modification to date is a K&N open element filter.
Here is the data I obtained from this device.
Run 1
0-60mph. 7.52 sec. , too much wheel spin & shifted at 5000rpm
Run 2
0-60mph. 7.33 sec. , bogged it from the start & shifted at 5000rpm
Run 3
0-60mph. 7.11 sec. , rode the clutch out with optimal wheel spin &
shifted at 5000rpm.
Run 4
0-60mph. 7.14 sec. , same as last run.
I made one 1/4 mile pass and it registered 15.58@92.7mph.
*Note: Testing was performed on a closed segment of highway during the
wee hours of the morning.
