I recently went to Pep Boys and got a price on their Futura Adventurer
Tires and the $279.96 price ended up being $361.92 out the door with
balance road hazard disposal fees etc. I went to NTB (National Tire and
Battery) and got a set of BFG Radial All Terrains for $368.64. I really
like the tires. They have performed well in the rain, snow and on dry
pavement. NTB also has a ride gaurantee. I think its 30 days or 1000
miles. If you don't like the tires you can return them for something
different. I returned my first set, the NTB brand because I didn't like
them. The LT215/75r15 did the trick. They also work well for towing my
camping trailer. I'll eventually add a set of 31/10.50's for non towing
season. I dont think the Futura's will have as good a performance in
varying conditions as the BFG A/T's because of the big blocks in the
tread pattern, however thats only my opinion.
