To Axeman ur question of 12-29, Had SEARS Michelins on my 87 DAK at one time
and got excellent wear and traction, at about 85,000 of wear miles, within one
month 3 tires developed ply separation. The sensation you get from ply
separation is really wierd if you'v never experienced it! As you accelerate
from a dead stop the front of the vehicle swings from side to side, 6 to 8
inches and you think there is really something out of balance or alignment.
Funny thing, all the shaking disappears at about 15 MPH and everything is OK
until the next time you stop and then it starts all over.
